Delighted to have played a small role on the new @usgirls.and.remy record! I’ve been a big fan of Meg’s for a while now, and getting to be a part of this was a real treat.

Happy 20th Birthday to this beautiful bummer of a record. (Actually, I think it’s kind of optimistic by the end.) And I’ve loved it for so long it feels like an old friend. This pressing is also one of the best sounding records in my collection.

For the like 7 drum dorks that follow along, here’s what looks like a boring old normal 4-piece kit, but WAIT - that’s not a rack tom, that’s a 13x7 custom “snom!” I use it as both a deep snare and a rack tom. It’s an old Slingerland shell that @ycdrumcompany helped build out, and then I threw a mount on it so it just sits right there on my Yamaha bass drum, which was also modified by Jordan at YC. Probably the only 22x15.5” Maple Custom Definitive bass drum you’ll ever see.

Ding dong rides again.

A very odd day spent trying to find slivers of wifi signal to make sure I didn’t mess up any of the things I was supposed to do.
